Our Ministries

Kids + Youth

Your kids and teens matter to God, and they matter to us! Investing in the next generation is one of our core values. Both Fort Kids + Fort Students provide quality instruction with solid, biblical teaching offered in a fun, age-appropriate environment to learn. Our goal is to partner with you as the parent. We recognize the many challenges parents face today and want to be a resource for parents.

WE TAKE TO HEART 1 TIMOTHY 4:12.

Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Curriculum

Curriculum at every age level aims to give our kids and students a strong biblical foundation and point them to Jesus. We believe no child is too young to hear the Gospel message or to make an impact on the world around them with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Safety

We take the safety of our church body and your kids very seriously! All of our leaders and volunteers (18 years and older), who work with minors, undergo a thorough background check and receive periodic training. We also have a Safety + Security Plan in place. This plan includes a security team present during our service times, cameras placed in strategic locations both inside and outside our building, and weather, fire, and medical response plans in the event of an emergency.

Fort Kids utilizes Planning Center for our check-in system on Sunday mornings. When you arrive you will check your child in using your telephone number and will receive one sticker to place on your child and one sticker to use to pick your child up.

Fort Groups

Discover Community in a Small Group

Small Groups at the Fort are about more than simply joining a group. This is an opportunity to do life together. It's as we move out of rows and into circles that we are able to encourage and spur one another on in our faith. Learn more.

Widows With A Purpose

We have an amazing group of widows at the Fort who have a heart to serve others. They get together every 3rd Tuesday of the month for a time of connection, fellowship, encouragement, and service. We love these ladies!

Intercessory Prayer Group

We believe in the power of prayer and recognize where our strength lies. Every Wednesday at 11:00 am those who have a heart to pray for our world, our nation, our city, our community, and our church come together in the Fort Café. All are welcome.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

Led by Dan + Wilma Sanford, Wednesday Morning Bible Study meets the 1st + 3rd Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am in the Fort Café. This is a great time of connecting in the Word and in fellowship with one another. All are welcome.

Outreach at the Fort

Serving Our Community + City

Serving others is at the core of who we are, both inside and outside the walls of the church. At the Fort, we offer many opportunities to serve our community with our various GIVE and GO Projects. We want to be a blessing to our community and city by offering the hope of Jesus Christ in both tangible and practical ways. We partner with a variety of local organizations to accomplish this. Stay up-to-date on our upcoming outreaches by viewing our event's calendar.
